Sometimes it seems like too much; a bottomless pit of problem-solving, leaving you feeling constantly ‘on,’ indispensable and exhausted. (Maybe wrung-out?

About

Sometimes life seems a little too big to handle. Change seems overwhelming. Being in a rut won’t do. But getting ‘unstuck’ and moving in the right direction requires inspiration, motivation, and help from someone with the right tools and someone you trust.

That’s how I felt anyway. There was some distortion going on. I needed a little clarity and a game plan.

Here’s my short story:

Many years as a manager and executive in the apparel manufacturing industry, I only knew how to conduct business one way — fast.

Whether doing business abroad or domestically, I held myself and everyone else to exceptionally high standards. Perfection, Perform, Prosper, was my personal mantra.

Until I fell flat on my face. I realized every single thing needed to change. I started working with a gifted coach. I decided I wanted to know more about these amazing coaching tools so I joined the Martha Beck Institute and became trained and certified.

I hadn’t planned on becoming a full-time coach. But I fell in love with it and use the tools and methods in every aspect of my life. It makes sense. Coaches are Change Agents and Change Champions

Fast forward many years, a ‘new normal’ was developed. One in which I thrive and move at a decidedly ease-filled pace.

I’m also a business consultant. Consultants work differently than coaches. We focus on organizational change management, effectiveness, and leadership excellence. We use qualitative and quantitative tools. We set plans into action. We look for speed of execution. We look at engagement, commitment, and buy-in.

Something I know as both a coach and a consultant: Prospering is a good thing.

But perfection is overrated and high-intensity performing can be counter-productive.

You can have the success and abundance without the stress and overwhelm. There’s a better way. One that doesn’t include the constant doubt and second-guessing. You want to banish the Pusher, the Overdoer, and the Approval-Seeker.

Here’s how I can impact your success:

I have a career-long obsession with the nature and spirit of the entrepreneurial mindset. I started my first business at 18 to ensure I had the funds to attend university. I’m the ‘big-idea’ person. The innovative, change management, ‘there’s more than one way to skin a cat,’ thinker that motivates everyone around me to wake up to their potentiality.

I’m a ‘doer,’ and you probably are too. We can’t help but be ‘doers,’ it’s in our blood. I get you.

Plus, you receive my knowledge and experience in the following:

Expert facilitation and feedback using psychometric assessments including DiSC-360, Clifton Strengths assessment, Franklin Covey assessments and the innovative Ethics Inventory.

Strong understanding of how adults learn. My first graduate program is entirely focused on learning styles and curriculum development. I’ve been called ‘a world-class teacher’ by some.

I am certified in cognitive behavioral theory. My tools box contains the best practices for developing and adopting new behaviors and thinking processes.

My most recent graduate program centers on the art of mastering Business Management and Leadership Excellence.

What’s the secret to becoming a highly-effective executive and leader? Everything rests on the ability to embrace vulnerability and humility.

A great leader doesn’t want to be right. They want to know how to cultivate belonging, commitment, and results. I come equipped with the latest and greatest business, financial, and process improvement tools, concepts, and methodologies. But more importantly, I help you cultivate the emotional intelligence and awareness all highly-skilled executives possess.

As an author, presenter, and content creator, I excel in verbal and written communication and I coach executives and leaders to develop their presence and authenticity and increase their skills in speaking and presentation. I also coach them through the creative process of writing books in their area of authority, if they feel inclined to this unique journey.

Above all else, I help executives learn simple, effective methods to rescript any process or struggle which stands in the way of making greatness happen. This happens by making the next best move… one thought at a time (awareness.) It requires coming to the table ready to show up, unlearn the old, out-of-touch and tired way of doing things and be open to learning and embracing change (humility.)

I’m a mindfulness practitioner. Incorporating mindfulness into your executive repertoire pays huge dividends, for you and everyone you touch. Every executive wants access to peace, joy, and fulfillment. In addition, mindfulness develops leaders with increased clarity, better focus and sharpened thinking processes.

Disruption and innovation don’t happen in a vacuum. It starts by disrupting your personal status quo. I’ll also help you know that nothing is broken. I remind you what is right and perfect with you. We look at your strengths and the areas that light you up. We’ll recall how much you do really well. And we move on from there.

Let’s have a chat. I come bearing a lot of gifts for you.

It would be my pleasure to work with you. My services and pricing are located under the service tab and are transparent and clear. That is how I do business. None of that ‘call me and let’s talk and then I’ll give you the price’ stuff happens around here. I’ll be transparent with you and you will be transparent with me. Agreed?

I provide a confidential, friendly place to show up and just be yourself. And we’ll do a lot of good work and make lasting shifts. You’ll also make decisions. And then you’ll have relief combined with confidence.

Looking for a speaker or workshop facilitator? Speaking is my thing. I never met a microphone I didn’t like. Well actually, sometimes I wear a headset-mic.

And, I love writing curriculum or helping your organization put together new training. I help you identify the competencies and plan the learning experience. Then I’ll do the training if you like. You can find out the specifics under the service tab.

In addition to my executive coaching, I also consult on executive presence. This includes executive image. Do you need a ‘freshen up’ experience? Working in the apparel industry, where appearance is an art form, I’ve developed an exceptional eye for what suits people aesthetically. Combined with my masterful communication abilities we can shine up your look, polish your poise, and increase your personal confidence.

PS ~ I’m a bestselling author. I’ve been writing for 30 years. I cut my teeth in speech writing during one of our more formidable presidential administrations, and I’ve been writing ever since.

I mention this because I coach a select group of aspiring authors in my Writer’s Alchemy Circle. A private group-coaching available by application. I ADORE working with aspiring authors. Do you have a book in you? This is a tight-knit group and I open it up to new members 3 or 4 times a year. The group is never more than 12 writers. We meet twice per month via zoom. Please feel free to inquire by accessing the information page under the services tab. There is also an option for 1:1 author coaching for a limited few.
